Join Us for a Conversation with Tamara Elliott Rogers
from College '74 to V.P. of Alumni Affairs and Development
The Harvard Club of France has the great honor of inviting you to this exceptional evening event, at which we will receive Tamara Elliott Rogers a 2019 Harvard medalist, recognized for extraordinary service to the University.
We will discuss Harvard from 1970 when Tamara was a student to now, including Tamara's experiences as a senior admissions officer and the fundraising leader of the recent record-breaking campaign, before stepping down on December 31, 2018.
    To quote the Harvard Gazette,
"Tamara Elliott Rogers has had a major impact on Harvard University. From her days as a Radcliffe College student to her leadership of the largest capital campaign in the history of American higher education, she has proven her commitment and devotion in very tangible ways.
Rogers has served in many senior positions at Harvard, as associate dean for advancement and planning at the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study, associate director of University development and director of University capital projects, director of major gifts for the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, and director of international admissions in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. In 2007, she became vice president for alumni affairs and development.
In her 40-year career at Harvard, Rogers worked with generations of students, alumni, and friends who have sustained and strengthened the University with their volunteerism and philanthropy. In her 11 years as vice president, she worked tirelessly to foster alumni engagement and support the University's mission of education, research, and discovery, ultimately leading the record-breaking Harvard Campaign. She has described education as her religion."
Tamara Rogers has also been a search consultant in the education and not-for-profit practice at Heidrick and Struggles.  She is a Charter Trustee of Phillips Academy and formerly served on the American Selection Committee of the United World Colleges.
Tamara Rogers will be interviewed by Audrène Eloit, Secretary-General of HCF. The event, to be held at Linklaters' Paris headquarters, is organized by Audrene, along with Denise Silber, Vice-Pres. for Communication.
After the discussion, participants will be invited to network and enjoy a champagne buffet.
