    APCI will be welcoming Acting Detective Sergeant Jugdeep Atwal from the Metropolitan Police Service based within Specialist Investigations dealing with homicide investigations. In a professional and candid presentation, he will be sharing his experiences of working alongside interpreters. He will discuss his work on murder investigations, his interpreter engagement strategy and his expectations of an interpreter. His talk will also include a section on the projected professionalisation of the Criminal Justice System, highlighting the need for openness in the Police’s undertakings to ensure positive outcomes.
