  • About this event

The ability to gather reliable information from interviewees to enable informed decision-making is at the heart of doing justice in society. The session will examine the research underpinning best practice guidance (e.g. ABE) and will focus on one primary model of interviewing: the cognitive interview. Further, using case examples and research, Becky will look at what practically needs to be undertaken when interviewing in a trauma-informed approach, including when interpreters are part of the interviewing team.
