Postpone or cancel an event

- Login to your Event Manager xing-events.com.
- Choose in your list of events the one for which date you wish to modify.

Informing participants
Would you like to inform your attendees that the date of your event has been changed?
To do so, open the "Promote event" category in the left bar and click on "Email Campaign" and then on "Create a campaign". You will then have the possibility to send a simple email or an email with a design template to all your participants.
Event cancellation
You want to cancel an event?
If you do not have any attendees or your event is still in the draft, you have the following option of deleting the event:
If you already have participants, you will not be able to delete the event. But you can make it invisible.
Log in to your Event Manager on www.xing-events.com.
Choose from your list of events the one you want to cancel:
In the settings of the tab "Event on XING", please change the visibility to "Only people on the guest list".
Then go to the tab "Event homepage".
In the settings of the "Event homepage", change the visibility to "Only for you as organiser and your attendees" or "Not visible at all" (for the latter option, you might need to change the main sales channel).
Don't forget to deactivate the ticket categories!
Go to the "Set up Ticket Sales" tab and click on "Ticket categories".
For each category, go to the "..." button on the right hand side and validate the "deactivate" option in order to terminate ticket sales.
