Measuring the success of your ad

  1. To view the statistics, click on the gear icon in the top right-hand corner of the XING homepage and go to Manage ads.
  2. The following statistics are available in the Manage ads tab:
    • Impressions
    • Clicks
    • Click rate
    • Average bid
    • Used in total
    • Used today
  3. Keep an eye on impressions, clicks, and the click rate for your event ad and, if necessary, adjust your settings by going to Manage ads.
  4. If your ad is not displayed often enough, go to the detailed view to optimise your ad. We recommend optimising your ad in the following ways:
    • If the number of impressions is too low: Make sure that you have checked the box next to Expand target group, raise the bid, and increase/decrease the size of your target group.
    • If the number of clicks is too low: Run two different ads simultaneously for a week, one of which has a different picture or text, and see which one has the best click rate. Leave the winning ad running for the remaining duration of the campaign.
