Measuring the success of your ad
- To view the statistics, click on the gear icon in the top right-hand corner of the XING homepage and go to Manage ads.
- The following statistics are available in the Manage ads tab:
- Impressions
- Clicks
- Click rate
- Average bid
- Used in total
- Used today
- Keep an eye on impressions, clicks, and the click rate for your event ad and, if necessary, adjust your settings by going to Manage ads.
- If your ad is not displayed often enough, go to the detailed view to optimise your ad. We recommend optimising your ad in the following ways:
- If the number of impressions is too low: Make sure that you have checked the box next to Expand target group, raise the bid, and increase/decrease the size of your target group.
- If the number of clicks is too low: Run two different ads simultaneously for a week, one of which has a different picture or text, and see which one has the best click rate. Leave the winning ad running for the remaining duration of the campaign.
