Using the menu item “Permissions” in your personal area, you can grant other users access to your event in the XING EventManager. You can choose between the following three roles: Editor, attendee manager and watcher.
Editors are users with editing rights for almost all event settings. They also have access to invoices and can link the account to their own XING accounts but cannot change payout data.
Attendee managers have access to the attendee list and can edit it. They can also view other areas of the EventManager but cannot make any changes there.
Watchers can view all areas of the EventManager but cannot add or edit any details.
As the organiser, you can cancel an entire order or perform a partial cancellation in the attendee list for the event. During the cancellation process, you can select who will pay the processing fees — the ticket purchaser or you, as the organiser. You can refund the entire invoice amount or set a cancellation fee as either a percentage or fixed amount in EUR. In case of a chargeback, you’ll be charged a cancellation fee of EUR 5 plus VAT (if applicable).
If you want to cancel an event, e.g. due to adverse weather conditions, please let us know directly by sending an e-mail to events(at)xing-events.com. We will then send you a cancellation order, which should be signed and returned to us so that we can cancel the event. Please note that you’ll be charged the cancellation fees. Ticket buyers will be refunded the full ticket prize without deduction of any fees.
As long as you do not have any registered participants, you can cancel your event yourself using the EventManager. See the following section for more information and video tutorials.
The tutorials also show you how to cancel an event with already registered participants. In order to arrange the reimbursement to your customers, please send us an e-mail to events(at)xing-events.com. You will then receive a cancellation order, which you will be asked to sign and return. As soon as you have provided us with the signed form, we will cancel all orders and refund the full ticket price to your customers. All cancellation fees will be borne by you as the organizer.
