Extended selection options with keyword targeting

Thanks to keyword targeting, you can now also make your selection based on keywords. This feature is available for all XING ads. You can combine keyword targeting with all other selection criteria. This allows you to tailor your target group even more precisely to your event, even if you serve specific niches. User targeting is based on job titles and skills.

Double opt-in for newsletters

In order to send event attendees newsletters and other news via e-mail, you naturally need the consent of the attendees, and twice at that. The way we ensure that the attendee has really subscribed to the newsletter is by asking him/her to agree to receive the newsletter and then asking him to confirm once again via e-mail. We have now integrated this so-called “double opt-in” into the TicketingManager.

Quick registration on site

What was already possible in the app version of EasyEntry is now also available for the browser version: With quick registration, attendees can buy a ticket on site and use a shortened version of the registration form which is activated specifically for on-site ticket sales.

Upload your own privacy policy

When you create a ticket shop as an organiser, you can now not only upload your own terms and conditions, but also your own privacy policy. You will find this option in the lower area under “Set up ticket sales > Request attendee data”.

Import your own promotion codes

From now on, you can import promotion codes into the TicketingManager yourself giving you even more flexibility when creating discounts for your attendees.

Connection with Zapier

We have now officially integrated the TicketingManager into the Zapier system. You can therefore connect it to hundreds of other applications via Zapier. This means that if a new attendee registers in the ticket shop, Salesforce automatically creates a new customer or the in-house CRM automatically receives a new entry. This automated connection is made possible by Zapier, which links the TicketingManager to the corresponding program.

Print badges with Zebra Bluetooth printers

With the new EasyEntry version for iOS, you can now print badges via Bluetooth. All you need is a Zebra Bluetooth printer.

Add attendees via API calls

It is now possible to add a new attendee to an event with a single API call. This change is particularly interesting for organisers who also sell tickets in other systems. It allows you to set up an automated process to add these attendees from other systems to the TicketingManager. Moreover, external service providers can also use this API call. More functions for events including a ticket shop

Integrating a ticket shop into a XING event page now works somewhat differently: From now on, you will no longer create and edit the ticket shop on XING, but directly in the XING TicketingManager. It then automatically displays on the XING event page. This applies to all future as well as previous events on XING. Advantages include additional functions such as a pre-registration list, a draft mode for the ticket shop, and the possibility to integrate the ticket shop as iFrame into your own website.
